Chenai Tsorayi s is a development practitioner who has experience working on development programs and implementing capacity development initiatives in underserved communities in Africa with a special emphasis on microfinance, youth issues and TVET. She co-pioneered a non-profit organisation focused on education, skills development, and employment of young people, and she has experience designing and managing development projects including project budgeting, conceptualising approaches, and creating training modules and communication materials. Chenai is a holder of a BSc (Hons) degree in Financial Economics with Accounting which she obtained from Swansea University in the United Kingdom, and a graduate of the Masters of Arts in Development Management (MADM) from Ruhr University in Germany. Chenai is an alumna of several prestigious networks; she is a DAAD Scholar, a Mandela Washington Fellow of the Young African Leaders Initiative, a graduate of the Friedrich-Ebert-Stiftung (FES) Zimbabwe Leadership Training Program and a participant of the Oxford Africa Conference Innovation Fair. Chenai is a Zimbabwean citizen and speaks English, Shona and German.
