Alicja Korek is a Polish senior adviser, based in Lyon (FR). She has over 15 years of experience working in international cooperation, development, public institutions, and the private sector in different countries of Central and Western Europe, Africa, and the Caribbean. She is a feminist development policies enthusiast. In her professional practice, she brings an intersectional and transformative lens to every activity and intervention she is involved in, to ensure that no one is left behind, especially the most vulnerable, unheard, and marginalized. These experiences are completed by her grassroots initiatives, particularly in raising awareness of violence against women through artistic expression. Alicja has an MA in Gender and Sexuality in Global Politics from SOAS University (UK) and a double MBA from Université de Rennes (FR) and Poznan School of Economics and Business (PL). She speaks Polish, French, Spanish, and English.
