Dr Nelson Muparamoto is a social inclusion and gender specialist with extensive experience in higher education, research, and advocacy. Based at the University of Zimbabwe in the Department of Demography, Settlement, and Development, he works closely with marginalised communities to promote social justice and diversity.
Holding a PhD in Sociology, Dr Muparamoto specialises in gender and sexuality diversity, conducting ethnographic studies, human impact documentation, and policy analysis. He has led baseline surveys, mid-term and end-term evaluations, and collaborative research projects with regional and international scholars.
His work bridges academia and development, contributing to gender-sensitive research and inclusive policy frameworks. With a strong commitment to equity and social change, Dr Muparamoto continues to drive impactful research and advocacy initiatives in Zimbabwe and beyond.
