Vivian Ogechi Nwadiaru is a Nigerian-born energy engineer and graduate of the Pan African University Institute of Water and Energy Sciences (including Climate Change) with experience working in development. She has worked for the African Union Commission and the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) as a consultant on projects relating to climate change, energy, and gender mainstreaming. In 2020, Vivian concluded a Research Fellowship on International Climate Protection at the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation in Berlin and begun her PhD at Amherst University, USA. She has published a number of articles on energy. Vivian is also the founder of STEMJets: an NGO dedicated to bridging the skills gap for STEM students in Nigeria. Vivian is currently pursuing her PhD in renewable energy at the University of Massachusetts.
